Sona graduated from UCLA in 1997 and received her J.D. in 2000 from UC Berkeley’s Boalt School of Law. 

Prior to working at Cochran + Kang LLP, Sona practiced litigation at Riordan & McKinzie in Los Angeles and Bingham McCutchen LLP in both Los Angeles and Orange County.  She also served as Legal Counsel for M S International, Inc., where she handled the litigation, labor and employment, commercial business, and intellectual property matters on behalf of the leading distributor of natural stone in North America.

Sona’s practice focuses on business litigation, and she has represented clients in state court, federal court, arbitration, and mediation on a broad range of litigation matters, including commercial business, intellectual property, unfair competition, and labor and employment actions.
